Lori Daugherty serves as President of PMSI’s Pharmacy Division. PMSI is one of the nation’s largest providers of services related to Pharmacy, Medical Services and Equipment, and Settlement Solutions. With over 35 years of history and more than 650 employees, PMSI is the industry’s most experienced workers’ compensation service provider and serves many of the country’s largest workers’ compensation payors. With over 20 years of experience in the workers’ compensation pharmacy markets, Lori drives innovative solutions to help PMSI maintain its reputation as one of the industry’s largest Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) operations and a true leader in pharmacy services.
Under Lori’s guidance, PMSI’s Pharmacy Division drives PBM retail and mail order services for its clients. Lori has played a critical role in revolutionizing this program into what it is today—a clinically based, industry-specific program, integrating cost containment with outcomes management from the point of injury. She is often referred to as an industry pioneer of PBM operations because of her dedicated efforts in the marketplace.
Over the past two decades, Lori has spent considerable time leading multi-million dollar healthcare management organizations. She has served as President and CEO for Avizent, a national provider of workers’ compensation claims management and alternate risk programs for self-insured employers. She was also President and CEO of One Call Comprehensive Care, Inc., a nationwide provider of pharmacy and home health care services, before going on to become the only woman ever be appointed as President and CEO of Working Rx, a provider of workers’ compensation claims management services to retail pharmacy providers throughout the United States.
Lori serves on the SIIA Workers’ Compensation Committee. She was one of the founding members of the Women’s Philanthropic Network, an affiliate of the United Way of Salt Lake City, and a member of the Central Columbus Chapter of the United Way. Her philanthropic activities have also allowed her to be recognized as a United Way Tocqueville Society member, which recognizes local philanthropic leaders and volunteer champions around the world who have devoted time, talent, and funds to create long-lasting changes by tackling our communities’ most serious issues.
Lori received her Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
