Jay Krueger
Chief Strategy and Client Services Officer

As Chief Strategy and Client Services Officer, Jay Krueger provides the overall strategic direction of PMSI, Inc., a leading provider of cost containment solutions for the workers’ compensation industry. PMSI operates as one of the largest specialty services providers for Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Durable Medical Equipment, Home Health Care and Case Settlement Services. With nearly 15 years of experience in healthcare and workers’ compensation markets, Jay leads the company’s product development, clinical, marketing government affairs, and client services functions.


Prior to joining PMSI, Jay served as Head of Strategy, Planning and Geographic Development for Aetna’s healthcare management organization. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic direction of medical cost management, network management and care management. He also served as Senior Vice President, Business Strategy of APS Healthcare, a leading disease management company backed by H.I.G. Capital. While at APS, Jay led the company’s strategic planning efforts and was responsible for the functional areas of marketing, product development and corporate communications.


Earlier in his career, Jay was a principal at ChapterHouse, LLC, a healthcare strategy consulting firm, and an associate at A.T. Kearney, an internationally respected strategy and operations consulting firm. During his time as a consultant, Jay led major healthcare strategy engagements across the payor, provider, and healthcare services sectors. His consulting clients included leading healthcare companies such as Aetna, CIGNA, The Regence Group, HCA, TriZetto and Magellan Health Services. Before working in industry, Jay served as a Transportation Corps officer in the United States Army.


Jay is an alumnus of the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree. He earned an MBA with distinction from the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, where he was awarded the prestigious Park Leadership Fellowship.
